As a fan of cream cheese, it’s no surprise that I absolutely enjoyed this dip.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about dipping a cracker into this creamy, spicy, raspberry infused dip. It’s simply irresistible! The combination of flavours is spot on: a slight tang from the cream cheese, sweetness from the raspberry preserves, and a kick of heat from the chipotle sauce. Plus, it’s one of the easiest recipes you’ll ever make!

Three ingredients for this raspberry chipotle cream cheese dip:

Cream cheese, raspberry preserves, and chipotle sauce. I didn’t actually use the chipotle peppers themselves (if you didn’t know, chipotle peppers are smoked jalapeños); instead, I used just the adobo sauce that comes with them. This sauce is a tangy, smoky tomato-based sauce with a hint of heat from the peppers.

For this dip, I used about a tablespoon of adobo sauce (a few small chunks of chipotle snuck in, which is perfectly fine) and mixed it with the raspberry preserves. I chose preserves with seeds, but feel free to use seedless if you prefer (my mum would definitely opt for seedless, and that’s totally okay).

Simply stir the two ingredients together and adjust the heat level to your liking by adding more adobo sauce if desired. Once mixed, pour the raspberry chipotle mixture over a block of cream cheese.

I like to leave a bit of the cream cheese visible under the raspberry-adobo mixture, but if you’re feeling adventurous, go ahead and cover the whole block with the sauce. I served this dip with crackers, but toasted baguette slices would also work beautifully.

Ingredients

  • 1 x cream cheese or brie cheese
  • 1/3 cup raspberry preserves
  • 1 tbsp adobo sauce from a can of chipotles in adobo sauce
  • Assorted crackers

Instructions

  1. Unwrap the cream cheese and place it on a serving platter.
  2. Mix the raspberry preserves and adobo sauce until well combined.
  3. Pour the raspberry chipotle sauce over the cream cheese.
  4. Serve with assorted crackers or toasted baguette slices.

Recipe Note
For a more elegant version of this dip, substitute a nice wedge of brie for the cream cheese and top it with the raspberry chipotle mixture.
